Africa-Press – Eswatini. No more costly trips abroad, emaSwati can now sit for over 500 world-class online exams right here at home.

The Eswatini Institute of Accountants (ESIA) has secured a groundbreaking partnership with Pearson VUE, giving professionals and students access to internationally recognized qualifications across multiple fields.

Speaking during the launch, ESIA Executive Director Dr. Ndiphetche Mabila hailed the milestone as a turning point for the country’s skills development.

He said the move was part of ESIA’s broader mandate to empower emaSwati with globally competitive credentials.

“This is a game-changer,” Mabila said. “Our people no longer need to cross borders to sit for international exams. They can now do it in Eswatini, saving costs and time, while still accessing opportunities at the highest global level.”

Pearson VUE, a leader in computer-based testing, offers examinations for industries ranging from finance and healthcare to IT, business management, engineering, and beyond.

The platform is recognized worldwide for its reliability and credibility, meaning emaSwati can now pursue certifications that open doors to international jobs, scholarships, and career advancement.

Mabila further explained that the service would not only benefit accountants but also professionals across different disciplines.

“We are positioning Eswatini as a hub of excellence. By bringing these exams here, we are saying to the world that our youth, our professionals, and our entrepreneurs deserve the same access as anyone else,” he said.

The Pearson VUE exams will be available through ESIA’s facilities, which are equipped with secure testing environments that meet international standards. Registration and scheduling are handled online, ensuring a seamless process for candidates.

The development also aligns with His Majesty King Mswati III’s Nkwe mandate, which calls for innovation, competitiveness, and positioning Eswatini on the global stage.

By tapping into world-class opportunities, ESIA believes the country is building a stronger base for human capital development, ultimately boosting economic growth.

“This is not just about exams,” Dr. Mabila added. “It’s about changing lives, creating opportunities, and building a nation that is ready for the future.”

With access to more than 500 online world examinations, ESIA is now at the forefront of bridging global knowledge with local talent, giving emaSwati the wings to compete, and succeed, anywhere in the world.
