Africa-Press – Eswatini. Lugongodlwane Nazarene Primary School in the Mayiwane Constituency has received a significant boost, thanks to the generous contributions of Microprojects and Lomati Mine, who have joined forces to improve learning conditions at the school.

Microprojects officially handed over a newly constructed administration block, alongside fencing materials and electrical installations that have transformed the school’s infrastructure. Lomati Mine, formerly known as Lufafa Mine, complemented these efforts by donating 20 chairs worth E38 000 to furnish the new administration offices for the teachers. All of these donations were handed over on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the school premises.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Mayiwane Member of Parliament (MP) Sicelo Prince Dlamini expressed heartfelt gratitude to both organisations for their continued commitment to community development and education.

“We are truly grateful to Microprojects and Lomati Mine for their kindness and investment in our community. Their support goes beyond this school—it uplifts the entire Mayiwane Constituency,” said Dlamini.

The MP also extended an open invitation to other development partners and private sector stakeholders to emulate such gestures, noting that collaborative efforts were essential to improving education across the country.

“We rely on development partners for such initiatives. I must also thank His Majesty King Mswati III for fostering the international friendships that make partnerships like these possible,” Dlamini added.

Lugongodlwane Nazarene Primary School Headteacher Xolani Dlamini echoed these sentiments, describing the donations as transformative for the school’s operations and the learning environment.

“When I arrived here in 2023, the school had no administration block and no electricity,” said Dlamini. “Today, we have a fully functional office, electricity across the school, and fencing material that will secure our premises. These improvements will make a huge difference in the safety and quality of education for our learners.”

The principal had approached Microprojects last year, after seeing that there were many bricks within the school premises. He saw it fit that Microprojects should be roped in to make use of the bricks to build the administration block. He also submitted a request to the Mine for assistance, resulting in the delivery of the materials. He further commended MP Sicelo Dlamini for his ongoing cooperation and advocacy on behalf of the school, saying his leadership had played a crucial role in attracting such partnerships.

The new administration block and the additional resources mark a new chapter for Lugongodlwane Nazarene Primary School, which had long faced infrastructural challenges. With improved facilities and renewed community support, the school is now better positioned to provide a conducive learning environment and inspire hope among its pupils and teachers alike.
