Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Mlungisi Kunene, the Nyakatfo High School Headteacher was forced to drive members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) to safety.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was confirmed by the Head of the operation when speaking on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen members of the ground forces arrived, they found the Headteacher and five (5) others.They forced all of them to accompany the underground forces to Manzini,” said a senior member of the Underground Forces who was heading the operation on the ground.<\/p>\n

It has been disclosed members of the Solidarity Forces decided to temporarily detain those who were found with the Headteacher for security reasons.<\/p>\n

The Nyakatfo Headteacher was visited by the Solidarity Forces after defying an order to temporarily close schools amid political tension in this tiny Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Before the visit by the Solidarity Forces to the school, on Monday, the press contacted the Nyakatfo Headteacher who confirmed that operations were normal at the school, other schools complied.<\/p>\n

\u201dWe are learning here, things are normal,\u201d said the Headteacher when speaking to the publication on Monday.<\/p>\n

Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson, had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

But after being held by the Solidarity Forces, the Headteacher was forced to address the public in a live video where he warned other Headteachers against defying the Ground Forces.<\/p>\n

\u201cSwazis, underground forces arrived here at school today and they stated categorically that when they say schools must close, they mean it,” said the Headteacher in the video.<\/p>\n

Eswatini is in the midst of a political crisis after King Mswati unleashed soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.<\/p>\n

This resulted to the establishment of Underground Forces, who are quickly gaining popularity among the people for intensifying the struggle for democracy through underground operations.<\/p>\n
