Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Former Miss Cultural Heritage contestant Takhona Khumalo will be representing Eswatini at the Miss Heritage Global pageant.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was revealed by the former aspiring beauty queen.<\/p>\n

Khumalo said she was excited about the pageant as it would give her the opportunity to inspire other young people.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat inspired me was my love for our culture and wanting to learn more about it. I entered Miss Heritage Eswatini in 2018 but unfortunately, I only made it to the top 12 and that did not dampen my spirit as I continued to be on the lookout for more opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to use the platform to motivate and inspire others, especially those girls from rural areas. I want to help more people, especially young people, to have confidence in themselves no matter how they look or where they come from,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Miss Heritage Global is about celebrating the heritage and the diverse cultures of the world. Not only does the organisation promote unity in cultural diversity through pageantry, it has established its global footprint and brand across 80 countries.<\/p>\n

It is also ranked seventh in the world, according to Pageantology Analysts.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to use the uniting power of women by fusing pageantry, heritage, tourism and culture, through an entertaining, educational, cultural experience. My duty as the Heritage Global queen of Eswatini is to promote the Siswati culture and our tourism destinations during the culture week scheduled for September 9 in South Africa,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Finale<\/b><\/p>\n

Moreover, the finale will take place on September 24. Entrants must have a strong desire to represent their country or region and be an ambassador for their culture overseas.<\/p>\n

Khumalo also pleaded with the public for support as she would be representing the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am super excited about the pageant and I hope I will bring the crown back home. I can only achieve my goals through support and I would really appreciate it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Khumalo is not the first Liswati to represent the country, Nomvula Msibi and Zinhle Xaba once made it to the Miss Africa 2020\/21 Finals.<\/p>\n
