Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>All is not well within the Mbabane Swallows camp as players have reportedly not been paid their August salaries.<\/b><\/p>\n

The capital city giants players are normally paid between the 25th \u2013 28th of each month. However, they have still not been paid last month\u2019s salaries, raising speculations about the future of President Bheki Lukhele at the red and white glamour side.<\/p>\n

The financial struggles in the team are said to be so serious such that the club is allegedly struggling to transport players to training. International stars in Bashir Mutanda (Uganda) and Kingsely Kwayki (Ghana) are also yet to report for pre-season due to unavailability of air tickets. A source within the Birds nest revealed that the players were worried about the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe morale is low as the players have been left in the dark about this matter for far too long. No one explains a thing to them, and I think the management needs to meet and find a way forward before it is too late,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

Swallows Governor Andreas Lukhele referred all queries to the team\u2019s General Manager Sandile \u2018Beyond 2000\u2019 Zwane when sought for comment.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease contact Sandile since he is the one handling such matters,\u201d he said. Meanwhile, Zwane declined to comment on the matter, saying such matters were being handled by the governor (Andreas Lukhele.)<\/p>\n

The red and white glamour side have lost the services of Njabulo \u2019D4D\u2019Ndlovu and Togolese international Seidou Baba Blandja to Green Mamba and Tanzanian outfit Namugo FC respectively. The \u2018Beautiful Birds\u2019 will kick off the 2022\/23 league campaign against army side Young Buffaloes later this month.<\/p>\n
