Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>MBABANE Highlanders want away defender Simphiwe \u2018Cheese\u2019 Manana has reportedly taken the team to the Players Status Committee (PSC).<\/b><\/p>\n

Manana is claiming that his former team is refusing to issue his clearance as he intends to join Manzini Wanderers in the current transfer window.<\/p>\n

The towering defender tendered his resignation at Highlanders two days before the 2022 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup match against Royal AM for alleged breach of contract.<\/p>\n

The matter will be heard by the five member committee headed by lawyer Sipho Matse.<\/p>\n

Manana was one of the longest serving players in the black and white outfit having joined the club four seasons ago from Mbabane City.<\/p>\n

He will become the third player to join the hub giants from Highlanders after midfielder Menzi Mamba and goalkeeper Phila Mamba.<\/p>\n

Efforts to get a comment from the player proved futile after his mobile phone rang unaswerered.<\/p>\n

Mbabane Highlanders Chief Executive Officer Clement Dlamini said he was not aware of the matter.<\/p>\n
