Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>King Mswati has applauded the Republic of China on Taiwan for demonstrating loyalty and maintained diplomatic relations with eSwatini in times of need.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking during the Taiwan National Day held at Sibane Hotel on Wednesday, the King who was represented by His Royal Highness(HRH)Prince Guduza further noted the support received from Taiwan during the fight against COVID-19.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur longstanding relations remain strong and the Kingdom is proud to have a friend like Taiwan, who has demonstrated beyond doubt that she can be counted on in times of need,\u201dsaid the King as quoted by eSwatini Government online platforms.<\/p>\n

On another note, His Excellency Jeremy Liang, the Ambassador of the Republic of China on Taiwan described eSwatini and Taiwan as true friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cTaiwan and Eswatini are true friends and partners in prosperity.There is no challenge nor obstacle too great for us to tackle and overcome together,\u201d said the Ambassador as quoted by Government online platforms.<\/p>\n

The Taiwan Day celebration was attended by among others, Members of Parliament(MPs),Senators, Cabinet Ministers and members of the royal family.<\/p>\n
