Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Barnes Dlamini, the Treasurer General of the Swaziland Democratic Party(SWADEPA) says they will legalize dagga farming under the coming democratic Government.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking during the MultiStakeholder Forum(MSF) community engagement at Ngwempisi on Saturday, Dlamini urged residents not to feel ashamed for being involved in dagga farming.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of us grew-up and went to school just because our parents were selling dagga and traditional beer. So don\u2019t feel ashamed for being dagga farmers, in fact we will legalize dagga farming under the coming democratic Government.I was in America recently, they want dagga,\u201d said the SWADEPA Treasurer General who was speaking on behalf of the MultiStakeholder Forum.<\/p>\n

But before uttering these sentiments, Dlamini jokily said he was accompanied by human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko who will ensure his release once he gets arrested.<\/p>\n

\u201dI am with my lawyer here, if they arrest me for uttering these sentiments, he will facilitate my release,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
