Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Participants of the Eswatini Business Expo have revealed their excitement over being part of the initiative.<\/b><\/p>\n

The ongoing second edition of the Business Expo themed \u2018Khicita, Khangisa, Tsengisa\u2019 being held at the Eswatini Theatre Club until Saturday, is aimed at drawing inspiration from the tremendous results which Emaswati can yield through exchanged knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n

Eswatini Business Expo Content Creator Siyabonga Dlamini explained the expo as a phenomenon, bridging the gap between corporates, policy-makers and the creative sector that could aid mitigate youth unemployment, deterioration of culture, as well as many socio-economic issues faced by the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur paramount objective hinges on equipping entrepreneurs about fundamental ways of packaging and selling their services. Stunning exhibitions are still flooding the venue, we currently have furniture by Sakhele Nkambule, up-cycled artifacts by Siciniseko Jele and portrait paintings by Daniel Mpendulo Dlamini,\u201d said Dlamini.<\/p>\n

Launched last Saturday, guests were treated to performances by Kabo Leburu, Cedric, Terrance October and a panel discussion led by The Silent Writer, which shone the spotlight on renowned singer and songwriter Sands together with former SMVAF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Helmon Vilakati.<\/p>\n

As the week long expo continues, there are artists expected to showcase their talents.<\/p>\n

Some of the artists said they were excited and honoured to be part of the expo. Kabo Leburu said this was because it gave them as the arts industry an opportunity to discuss various subjects with different institutions in order that they may align as partners in the space.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a musician and performer, this is great because I get to meet my potential clients in the corporate and government sector under one roof. It gives us both an opportunity to understand each other’s operations as well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Young Eagle, one of the artists set to perform on Saturday, said she was excited to be part of the expo as she had never heard of anything like it.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is also extremely remarkable how they are opening their arms to new talent. Through this experience, I am expecting more people to get to know God through my music,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honoured to be a part of this initiative as it focuses on creatives as well as the corporate world, which in my opinion is a good bridge connecting the two which can create opportunities in various fields to grow,\u201d said TAYtheBEAST.<\/p>\n

She said she looked forward to gaining an experience that would propel her as an artist or creative to grow in both entertainment and business aspects, as well as connecting with people through witnessing each other\u2019s skills.<\/p>\n

Besides performances, the expo is expected to host fashion talks, visual arts workshops and concerts. The expo has already hosted a poetry open mic, contemporary dance workshop and theatre and stage plays.<\/p>\n
