Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Senator Isaac Magagula, the former National Commissioner of Police who masterminded the looting of millions meant to increase salaries for junior cops was on Monday afternoon,visited by aggrieved officers.<\/b><\/p>\n

Magagula, the then Commissioner of Police allegedly created the now redundant Deputy and Assistant Commissioners posts, he subsequently elevated himself to be National Commissioner and falsely convinced King Mswati that he was benchmarking with the Southern African Development Community(SADC).<\/p>\n

After creating the posts, Senator Isaac Magagula colluded with the Executive Command to loot over R100 million meant to increase salaries for junior cops in the year 2014, the money was shared by the senior officers through a highly questionable salary increment.<\/p>\n

As a result,Government is now collectively owing the junior officers about R2billion in respect of a salary increment including a back-payment calculated from 2014, the officers were promised Phase Two(2) in that year.<\/p>\n

Efforts to reach the former National Commissioner proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report as his phone was not available on the network.<\/p>\n

Reached for comments on Monday, Sergeant Dumsile Khumalo, the Secretary General of the Police Staff Association promised to soon provide a comment regarding the ongoing campaign of visiting high profile people who played a role in blocking their salary increment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not in a rightful position for now, will comment later,\u201d said the Police Staff Association Secretary General.<\/p>\n
