Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Mary DaSilva,the Spokesperson of the MultiStakeholder Forum (MSF) has advised the Southern African Development Community(SADC)Troika Chairperson President Geingob to engage all relevant stakeholders to try and find a lasting solution to the eSwatini political crisis.<\/b><\/p>\n

The SADC Secretariat announced that Namibian President Hage Geingob would be visiting eSwatini on Friday to consult with King Mswati, the visit comes at the time when political temperatures are rising in this tiny Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Thursday, the MSF Spokesperson welcomed the new developments adding that all relevant stakeholders should be engaged.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe welcome the developments and any other interventions made by SADC in resolving the crisis faced by the country. We hope President Geingob will not only hold discussions with the King, but will engage all relevant stakeholders,\u201dshe said.<\/p>\n

In an online statement released on Thursday, the SADC Secretariat said the visit by President Geingob who is the current Chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation was informed by the need for a peaceful and stable SADC region.<\/p>\n

“The SADC Organ Summit that was held on 16 August in the Democratic Republic of Congo, at which President Geingob assumed the role of Chairperson of the Organ reinforced the need for the SADC Organ to work for a peaceful and stable SADC Region,\u201dreads the statement in part.<\/p>\n

Eswatini is in the midst of a political unrest after King Mswati unleashed his forces to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms. Now the King is refusing to implement a political dialogue which was recommended by the SADC .<\/p>\n
