Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The elderly and people living with disabilities will be ushered into the festive season from December 6.<\/b><\/p>\n

This is as the Deputy Prime Minister\u2019s Office has released the dates of the disbursement of social grants, which will start on December 6, 2022.<\/p>\n

According to a statement issued by the Principal Secretary in the DPM\u2019s Office, Melusi Masuku, the disbursements of the grants will start in the Hhohho Region from December 6 to December 7. The Lubombo Region will follow with the grants distributed from December 8 to December 9.<\/p>\n

Disbursement in the Manzini Region will be from December 12 to December 13 with Shiselweni being the last one from December 14 to December 16.<\/p>\n

Masuku said their office further warned their recipients to be aware of scammers who were on the prowl to rob them this holiday season.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe office reminds the public that it does not change any fees for the services it offers including the disbursement of social grants. It does not offer any relief grants,\u201d said the PS.<\/p>\n

The Principal Secretary further said they urged the public not to divulge any of their confidential personal details, be it bank accounts, pins, passwords and one-time passwords to anyone and to also report any suspicious calls or activity to the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n
