Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>With the festive season upon us, event organisers are gearing up for an epic holiday experience.<\/b><\/p>\n

After two years of enduring the COVID-19 pandemic, the entertainment sector is pleased to have all regulations relaxed before this festive season as that would mean patrons and organisers alike would get to enjoy events without the previous limitations posed by safety precautions.<\/p>\n

Eswatini Events Managers and Promoters Association (EEMPA) founder Mthunzi \u2018Shadow\u2019 Zwane, pointed out the importance of safety and security at events.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are definitely hopeful given that the industry is open now and has been since early this year. Patrons are further urged to drink responsibly to reduce casualties on the road and we condemn any and every form of violence that may ensue,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Zwane said, as organisers, they were ready to give patrons a festive season to remember and pivoted his comment on safety for everyone.<\/p>\n

He further urged all other organisers and venues to take the necessary precautions regardless of relaxed COVID-19 regulations.<\/p>\n

Asked on his expectations for this festive, Megasound DJ and founder Zulu D reiterated Zwane\u2019s words on safety and security.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvents are a place of joy and fun, and we urge all patrons to behave themselves. Arriving early is also a key point here as this minimises traffic congestion at or around the venue,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Solani\u2019s Shisanyama organising team, on the other hand, did not want to delve much into their festive season schedule, but assured patrons that the holidays would be nothing less than amazing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are currently building our schedule and confirming with certain artists, but our venue is a trusted one and we are known for delivering good vibes, so people can be sure to have a great festive at our venue,\u201d said a member of the Solani\u2019s team.<\/p>\n

With numerous events lined up for the festive season, it is encouraging to hear most organisers emphasising on safety as a key factor as this shows their dedication to the crowds they serve.<\/p>\n
