Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>\u201cWe have been watching for quite sometime now,how those who are working for the RSSC have decided to position themselves as opponents of the collective wish of our people, and we will teach them a lesson that will serve as a point of reference for all others who would behave like them\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n

These were the sentiments of the Commander of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) when reacting to information suggesting that employees of the Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation(RESC) were hard at work on Tuesday amid the national shutdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey must know that the actions we are going to take are not only going to be directed to their employer but will extend to them as employees,\u201d said the SISF Commander.<\/p>\n

A concerned employee of the Sugar Company said the RESC has been forcing them to work even during a national shutdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are concerned why the Commander is not taking action, even today we are working as if nothing is happening in the country,\u201d said the RESC employee.<\/p>\n

But Sifiso Nyembe, the Spokesperson of the Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation(RESC) told this Swaziland that like all businesses in the country, their operations were interrupted as a number of employees couldn\u2019t make it to work.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur operation was interrupted. Like in many other businesses today a number of employees couldn’t make it to work. Along with other problems, we are unable to produce,\u201d said the Spokesperson of the Sugar Company.<\/p>\n
