Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Lincoln Motsa, the Director of Linac Enterprises trading as OK Foods has confirmed that police officers were shot next to Kwaluseni OK Foods.<\/b><\/p>\n

Gunmen shot police officers who were leaving the Kwaluseni OK Foods at around 9pm on Monday, three officers were subsequently rushed to hospital.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s true, the Managers have just reported to me. But the shooting did not happen inside the Kwaluseni OK Foods premises, kwenteke lapha ngase-timakethe, lapha ebunyameni nje,\u201dsaid the OK Foods Director.<\/p>\n

A questionnaire was sent to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson,however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

An eye witness told that he saw a heavy exchange of gunfire next to the Kwaluseni OK Foods.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was not close to the scene but I saw a heavy exchange of gunfire and shots were heard,\u201d said the eyewitness.<\/p>\n

Reached for comments, the female Commander of the Ground Forces said she was waiting for a full report from her forces.<\/p>\n

\u201dWhat I can confirm is that there was an operation on Monday night not this one.Maybe along the way, they saw an opportunity to strike. So, that\u2019s why I am saying wait for to confirm with the forces on the ground first then I will comment if this operation was executed by them,\u201d said the female Commander.<\/p>\n
