Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Ward Rijikernberg, a brother to Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg is threatening to evict Golide Wine and Malt,a tavern situated at Bhunya and owned by Swazi businessman Bongani Mncedisi Mabuza.<\/b><\/p>\n

It has been disclosed that Ward Rijikernberg is one of the Directors of Montigny Investments, a company that leased part of Bhunya Village premises to Asikhutulisane Association, the Association then sub-leased the tavern thus creating tension between Montigny and the leasee.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe note with great concern that a bar is now operational. We would like to remind yourselves that in terms of the village rules the sale of liquor is strictly prohibited,\u201dreads a letter signed by the Montigny Manager.<\/p>\n

Reached for comments, Ward Rijkenberg confirmed that they were preparing to shutdown the tavern.<\/p>\n

\\”Alcohol is sold within the Village, but there are regulations that must be adhered. I think Mr Mabuza was required to abide by the guidelines prior to opening, the laws require, among other things, that there be parking, security personnel, and toilets,\u201d said Ward Rijkenberg.<\/p>\n
