Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Sikelela Dlamini, the 2nd Deputy Secretary General of the Trade Union Congress of Swaziland(TUCOSWA) says those who will participate in Tinkhundla undemocratic elections are supporters of King Mswati and must be treated as such.<\/b><\/p>\n

The sentiments of the TUCOSWA Secretary General come after ousted Siphofaneni Member of Parliament(MP) Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane defied a collective resolution by pro-democracy groups under the MultiStakeholder Forum(MSF)and urged people to support Mswati\u2019s undemocratic elections.<\/p>\n

Addressing the delegates during the ongoing Summer School organized by the Communist Party of Swaziland(CPS) at Nelspruit, South Africa, Dlamini who doubles as Secretary General of the MultiStakeholder Forum(MSF) says TUCOSWA took a position against Tinkhundla elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will not participate in the sham Tinkhundla elections. One who claims to be against Tinkhundla can never participate in the sham elections.Once you participate, it means you are pro-Tinkhundla. It is sad that the message in favour of participating in the sham elections is being spearheaded by people we thought were with us.Once you participate in Tinkhundla elections,it means the battle lines have been drawn,\u201d said the TUCOSWA Deputy Secretary General.<\/p>\n
