Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Ingaja revealed yesterday this year\u2019s Incwala was about brotherhood and them bonding.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was said by randomly interviewed participants and the said Ingaja during the main day of Incwala which took place yesterday, at Ludzidzini Royal Residence.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe definitely bonded as brothers and go to know each other better this year. We really sat for the over 16 days that we were here, and basked in brotherhood glory,\u201d said Mzikayise.<\/p>\n

His sentiments were echoed by \u2018Silwane\u2019 who said that Incwala for them was not necessarily about the main day, but the days leading up to the main day.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are the days where we just sit and talk about our issues as men and further advice each other on life in general as men and brothers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

During the main day yesterday there were over a thousand men and boys seen helping each other get ready for the big dance.<\/p>\n

People were seen swooning over the big display of brotherhood and respect when the \u2018brothers\u2019 conversed with each other.<\/p>\n

A hard-core and staunch traditionalist Lusolotja Ginindza mentioned that next year, he was expecting big numbers and that all men should not miss out on the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cBe here or be told, this is one of the biggest events in the country and it plays a huge role in developing brotherhood.\u201d He said.<\/p>\n

Worth noting is that more than 50 000 jubilant emaSwati gathered at Ludzidzini Royal Residence for Incwala 2023 song and dance.<\/p>\n

Worth noting is that imbali also came out in numbers for the Incwala main day, there were over 800 maidens who adorned themselves in traditional regalia and joined the King in dance. This was the same with Lutsango as well.<\/p>\n

His Majesty King Mswati III led emaSwati, diplomatic corporations and tourists during the song and dance of the main Incwala ceremony inside Ludzidzini Royal Residence Cattle Byre.<\/p>\n

The song and dance of Incwala started at 15:00 pm when Emabutfo\u2019s trumpet signalled the start of the dance.<\/p>\n

Immediately, members of the Royal Family, emaSwati, tourists and Diplomats cramped the cattle byre all dressed in traditional regalia. While Emabutfo were dancing inside the Cattle byre, His Majesty arrived an hour later and a National anthem was played before he proceeded to inspect the guard of honour.<\/p>\n

After the guard of honour, the national anthem was again played by the royal band and was followed by a march into the cattle byre where the King inspected the Emabutfo Regiments and subsequently exchanged pleasantries with diplomats before joining in dance.<\/p>\n

It was indeed a colourful ceremony as emaSwati were seen jovial during the song and dance. Among notable were top Government officials\u2019 namely; Minister for Home Affairs Her Royal Highness Princess Lindiwe Dlamini dancing with other Royal family members, the Right Honourable Prime Minister Sipho Cleopas Dlamini, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament and many more.<\/p>\n
