Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>MBABANE Swallows head coach Musa Manyatsi is optimistic that their win against Manzini Wanderers shows that the team is heading in the right direction.<\/p>\n

The coach made the comments after his side’s 1-0 win at King Sobhuza II Stadium on Sunday, thanks to an early goal from Sizolwethu ‘Nunu’ Shabalala, which proved to be the decider. It was Swallows\u2019 second win in a row following a slow start to the season and coach Manyatsi applauded his team’s performance against their rivals. \u201cWell done to the players for today’s performance and this was an important result for us.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis shows that we are heading in the right direction in terms of results and it will help us get back on track,\u201d he said. In the opposite dugout, Manzini Wanderers coach Nyanga \u2018Crooks\u2019 Hlophe said his side were unlucky to have been punished for an early lapse in concentration.<\/p>\n

“We at least deserved a draw from the way we played and were unfortunate to concede early in the match. displayed \u201cI am happy with the performance my players displayed, as they showed a lot of fighting spirit not to concede again and try to equalise,” he said.<\/p>\n

Swallows are currently sitting in fifth place on the log standings, with one more game left until the end of the first round, while Manzini Wanderers are in position eight and slowly slipping down the standings.<\/p>\n
