Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>AWARD- winning artist Sands has graced eight countries and performed at over 200 shows in South Africa to date. It is no doubt that he is the kingdom\u2019s golden boy as he continues to hoist the Eswatini flag high.<\/p>\n

Besides South Africa, Sands has graced countries such as Mozambique, Botswana, Tanzania, Namibia, Mauritius and Lesotho to mention a few. He has performed at over 200 shows in South Africa alone over the past seven years, blessing South Africans with his music at Durban July, Joy of Jazz, Macufe Festival, Idols SA Finale, Mbombela Festival, Annual All Party, Cape Town Jazz Festival to mention a few.<\/p>\n

He said this was a proof that his brand has grown in the past years and he was happy that his music was appreciated in most countries. \u201cThe moment you step out of the country and tell people you\u2019re from Eswatini, you become an ambassador.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t feel pressure from this, it helps me take care of myself and brings more responsibility on how I represent myself and the country, it\u2019s no longer about me alone but that\u2019s how I\u2019ve always lived my life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said he was yet to put his brand on the map and make more music for his fans. He said he was preparing something for Emaswati this year, but could not reveal details of his upcoming projects. Sands said he wanted to surprise his fans.<\/p>\n

Putting the Kingdom of Eswatini on the map one single at a time is Sands\u2019 mission. Sands has been celebrated from all corners of the country after his rise to fame while he formed a duo with Swazi hip-hop poet Qibho on the track Ntfombatana Lenhle.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to 2021, Sands recently featured on a short documentary presenting a new song and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of Sands and The One Who Sings, better known to many as Zolani Mahola of Freshlyground fame.<\/p>\n

The golden boy is working on an amapiano song with South African artist Kwish. This was confirmed by his Manager Melusi \u2018Zox \u2018Dlamini, who said the award-winning artist was in South Africa working with the amapiano star late last year.<\/p>\n
