Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation (ESRIC) Monthly Mug was held recently to kick-start the second year of a three year sponsorship with the Mbabane Golf Club.<\/b><\/p>\n

The sponsorship package is E105 000 annually with more goodies expected for golfers like merchandise. Pastor Roger Kunene won the first ESRIC Monthly Mug and the 2023 second edition will be staged on the first weekend of February.<\/p>\n

The stage was set and the weather was perfect, almost as perfect as the round of golf that Roger Kunene played to win the Monthly Mug of the New Year, on an impressive score of net 67.<\/p>\n

Winning the gross trophy was Mduduzi Maphalala, who matched the course on 72 strokes. Club Secretary Thabiso Gama came second on the net category on 70, beating Albert Mavuso, Taribo Bhembe and Vusi Norman Dlamini on a count back.<\/p>\n
