Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The last time he was here, the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) through the office of the Technical Director refused to register South Africa-born coach Solly Luvhengo on the basis that he did not possess the required qualifications to work in the elite league.<\/b><\/p>\n

That time, he was engaged by Denver Sundowns but with the same qualifications, EFA has cleared the former Amajita coach to work and has subsequently been registered by the Eswatini Football Coaches Association (EFCA).<\/p>\n

Luvhengo, one of South Africa\u2019s highly qualified coaches will lead Mbabane Highlanders in his first game against Royal Leopard, an epic clash slated for Mavuso Sports Centre on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have successfully registered the coach with the coaches association and his papers have been given the green light by the TD\u2019s office,\u201d said Highlanders Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Dlamini.<\/p>\n

However, sources within the EFCA have revealed that Highlanders registered the former TTM and Black Leopards coach as an assistant to at least get the working card and complete registration. Luvhengo was announced as the club\u2019s new head coach by boss Ally Kgomongwe, replacing Dumisani \u2018DU\u2019 Makhanya.<\/p>\n

The MTN Premier League rules and regulations dictate that every head coach must possess the CAF A License. Despite being decorated, Luvhengo does not have this needed certificate in local elite football but possesses a FIFA High-Level Course certificate, which he attained in 2011, and a SAFA PRO Licence Level 3 certificate attained in 2012 among other qualifications.<\/p>\n
