Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>In March 2019, when I was travelling to Johannesburg via the King Mswati International Airport to attend a regional media and elections meeting organized by the Media Alliance of Zimbabwe, I met two of my role models in Justice Thomas Masuku and human rights lawyer Thulani Maseko.<\/b><\/p>\n

These two shared a few things in common,bravery,humility and upholding the highest level of integrity.<\/p>\n

Lawyer Thulani Rudolf Maseko was not just my role model, but he was my attorney.<\/p>\n

When we arrived at Oliver Tambo(OR) International Airport,the South African immigration officers had issues with my traveling document, Judge Thomas and lawyer Thulani Maseko explained to the officers that the documents allowed the owner to travel in all the SADC countries, the problem was later sorted.<\/p>\n

The two highly regarded public figures waited and ensured that I was assisted, they didn\u2019t leave me stranded.<\/p>\n

One thing I learnt from Thulani Maseko and Judge Thomas Masuku was that whenever they saw allegations of misconduct against me in the media,they would contact and advise me to conduct myself with integrity.<\/p>\n

Judge Masuku once invited me for lunch in Mbabane just to say \u201cAngiyitsandzi lentfo lengiyibona lamaphepheni labatsi uyentile Nkhosi, yiyekele\u201d.<\/p>\n

As for Thulani Maseko, he was not just a human rights activist to some of us, he was a lawyer we could trust with our secrets because we knew, the regime could not easily capture him.<\/p>\n
