Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) has received a seal of approval for being one of the internationally recognised companies.<\/b><\/p>\n

This means EEC adheres to international standards, developed and published by the International Organisation of Standardization (ISO).<\/p>\n

According to the internet, the accreditation of DQS gives one the guarantee that the certificates issued are credible and objective.<\/p>\n

The audit is always unbiased, independent, and appropriate manner based on internationally recognised rules such as ISO\/IEC 17021, ISO\/IEC 17065, and the guide for Auditing of Management Systems<\/p>\n

The local utility has been officially accredited with three ISO Certifications: ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety; which are all fundamental standards that form the foundation of EEC\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n

This certification handover took place yesterday at the company\u2019s head office in Mbabane, in the presence of the international accreditation system body \u2013 DQS, EEC Chairman Dr. Phil Mnisi, Board members, Executive, and Management.<\/p>\n

EEC was accredited following extensive ISO audits which were successfully carried out in 2022. This recognition means EEC is a well-run business that has structure, is stable, and ready for growth.<\/p>\n

According to DQS\u2019 Executive Director Vusi Bongwe, EEC achieved this milestone despite the challenging times of COVID-19.<\/p>\n

\u201cAttaining the ISO standards is the highest achievement, and the company should be proud of itself. EEC has really made Eswatini very proud. Thank you for partnering with DQS and I can assure you that your name is within the industry\u2019s international register,\u201d he said. Worth noting is that other companies that have received the same accreditation include NAMBoard.<\/p>\n
