Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Bomber Mamba,the Matsanjeni South Member of Parliament(MP) has been arrested for attempted murder ahead of the Tinkhundla undemocratic elections.<\/b><\/p>\n

This comes less than two(2)weeks after the conviction of Lobamba MP Allen Steward on attempted murder charges,Steward was sentenced to three(3) years without an option of a fine.<\/p>\n

Mamba was arrested on Thursday by Nhlangano Police, he was subsequently transferred or handed over to the Correctional Services on Friday after the State vigorously opposed his bail application.<\/p>\n

A questionnaire was sent to Police Spokesperson Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

But a senior security officer told that a few days ago, there was a break-in and or robbery at the MP\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

\u201dEmployees of the MP searched and identified the suspect after the police failed to do their job.The suspect was abducted,dragged into the MP\u2019s farm and heavily assaulted.Mamba was then arrested on the basis of common purpose because he was present when the suspect was assaulted,\u201d said the security officer who cannot be named for ethical reasons.<\/p>\n

The MP is represented by prominent lawyer Noncedo Ndlangamandla from Mabila Attorneys.<\/p>\n
