Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Sihle Mavuso,the Spokesperson of Montigny Investments has slammed the United Eswatini Diaspora(UED) amid attempts by the political organization to lobby international clients to sanction the forest company.<\/b><\/p>\n

Bonginkosi \u2018IB\u2019 Dlamini, the Convenor of the United Eswatini Diaspora told this Swaziland News on Monday that they are intensifying an international campaign to lobby companies with links to Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg\u2019s Montigny Investments to terminate business contracts.<\/p>\n

This comes after the forestry company allegedly colluded with Mswati to hire mercenaries who kill civilians including human rights defenders as political temperatures continue to rise in this tiny Kingdom of eSwatini.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have written to some of their clients urging them to terminate business contracts because this company is involved in the killing of civilians.Our mission is to ensure that Montigny is not financially stable so that they can struggle to pay the mercenaries,\u201dsaid the United Eswatini Diaspora Convenor.<\/p>\n

The letters seen by this publication are addressed mostly,to international entities that source timber from the politically connected company.<\/p>\n

Arno Pienaar,the founder of Baston Security who was working as Montigny Risk Manager was allegedly contracted by Mswati to shoot and kill civilians including human rights defenders for demanding democracy.<\/p>\n

Pienaar allegedly told the Times of London that he had a list of individuals to be killed, he labelled those in the list as terrorists not human rights defenders.<\/p>\n

The alleged King\u2019s mercenary has been avoiding our questions for the past weeks.<\/p>\n

But Sihle Mavuso,the Montigny Spokesperson when responding to our questions said the company does not respond to hypothetical questions,however, the Montigny Public Relations Officer(PRO)expressed concerns that there were people who claimed to be emaSwati but did such things to destroy jobs.<\/p>\n

\u201cMontigny does not comment on hypothetical questions. It is very unfortunate,though,that there are people claiming to be emaSwati who would go to such lengths to destroy jobs,\u201dsaid the Montigny Spokesperson.<\/p>\n
