Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Members of Parliament(MPs) are highly expected to move and pass a motion in Parliament on Thursday to thank King Mswati for his Speech from the Throne.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a Parliament order paper dated 23rd February 2023, the MPs will meet on Thursday for the first sitting of the fifth session of the 11th Parliament.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo move that a humble address be presented to His Majesty King Mswati III, thanking him for the speech he delivered on the occasion of the State Opening of the Fifth Session of the Eleventh Parliament on Friday 17th February 2023,\u201d\u2018reads the Parliament order paper in part.<\/p>\n

Mswati rules eSwatini as an absolute Monarch with Executive, Judicial and Legislative powers,political parties are banned from participating in elections.<\/p>\n

Eswatini MPs are not allowed to criticize or debate Mswati\u2019s speech, instead they are expected to present cattle and thank him for the State of the Nation Address.<\/p>\n
