Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>…As the Ministry of Commerce launches the 2nd youth business incubation centre<\/b><\/p>\n

The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade yesterday urged the youth to participate in the Citizens Economic Empowerment Bill which is currently in parliament.<\/p>\n

Minister Manqoba Khumalo was speaking yesterday during the official launch of the Ludzeludze Youth Business Incubation Hub.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the Ministry, we have a Bill in parliament which is called the Citizens Economic Empowerment Bill. It covers what Emaswati should be getting from the Eswatini Government wealth, as well as Government parastatals. This makes it possible for when there are incentives, like the youth-friendly tax mentioned, they can be considered for implementation under this Bill as it is within its scope. If the council comes to make such requests when the Bill is in place, the Government will pass such requests to be implemented,\u201d said Minister Khumalo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI urge the youth to involve themselves in the work of passing this bill, so that when it passes it includes what the youth have said will work for them as supported by the Government,\u201d added Minister Khumalo. The Minister\u2019s words were echoed by the Minister of Youth, Sports, and Cultural Affairs Harries Madze Bulunga. Minister Bulunga, as represented by the Undersecretary in the Ministry, said the Ministry is ready to help in assessing places in different Tinkhundla where they can have more business incubation centres for the youth. According to their website, the Eswatini National Archives promotes National identity, protects personal and public rights of Emaswati; promotes efficiency, accountability and transparency of government through the preservation of public records of research value, regardless of format and historical information on Eswatini, for use in the government and by the people of Eswatini.<\/p>\n
