Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>There is light at the end of the tunnel for underprivileged children in schools who have been given solar lamps.<\/b><\/p>\n

The solar panels were donated yesterday with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Training and sponsored by Eswatini Electricity Company.<\/p>\n

This initiative was made by the Rotary Club of Mbuluzi where E200 00 worth of solar lamps were handed out to the pupils.<\/p>\n

President of the Rotary Club Buyani Fakudze thanked all who made the initiative possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations to all the children who benefitted from this initiative today. We hope that this will go a long way towards brightening their future endeavors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thankful to the Ministry of Education and Training for helping us identify pupils in the Hhohho region who needed solar lamps.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also thank Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) for giving out the solar lamps to these children for free. This was a very selfless act because they are actually mandated to make a profit from these solar lamps. \u201cThe company has taken a lead towards helping disadvantaged pupils improve their grades,\u201d said Fakudze.<\/p>\n
