Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Penuel Malinga,the newly elected Secretary General of the People\u2019s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has warned political activists and other human rights defenders about a plot by King Mswati\u2019s regime to intensify the abduction and killing of those opposed to the current system of governance.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking to this Swaziland on Thursday,Malinga urged Swazis to prioritize the safety of their relatives who are pro-democratic as the regime intensifies the killing of political activists.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe strategy now is to abduct those who are critical of the regime and kill them as if they were killed by unknown people.We urge Swazis to protect their relatives and political leaders in these difficult times,\u201d said the PUDEMO Secretary General.<\/p>\n

A questionnaire was sent to Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo,however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n
