Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Renowned entertainment company Malandela\u2019s Restaurant has applied for liquidation of their pension fund scheme from old mutual.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was mentioned by Old Mutual Eswatini in a statement released yesterday. Old Mutual said the company applied for liquidation of their Pension Fund Scheme from Old Mutual Eswatini on April 15, 2023. Old mutual said objections to the application made by Malandela\u2019s can be addressed to the chairperson of the fund within 30 days. \u201cPlease note that the preliminary accounts of the fund are open for inspection by interested parties at the same address for the next 30 days,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n

Liquidation<\/b><\/p>\n

Worth noting, Malandela\u2019s Restaurant was not the only company that applied for liquidation in the past month, Rainmaker Plus Umbrella Provident Fund\u2019s Swaziland Sales and Marketing (Pty) Ltd is also in a process of liquidation. The projected effective date of the above-mentioned company\u2019s liquidation is May 4, 2023, regardless of the eventual date of payment of all benefits or the last date that retirement funds were submitted.<\/p>\n

Services<\/b><\/p>\n

Swaziland Sales and Marketing (Pty) Ltd liquidation is handled by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) and Oracle Life Eswatini.<\/p>\n
