Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span> Zweli Martin Dlamini has pledged to deduct 10% of his monthly salary to fund the struggle for democracy that seeks to liberate the people.<\/p>\n

Dlamini said he would set aside R5,000.00 every month for five(5) months and urged political leaders to establish a fund where the money would be deposited. The editor said the fund could assist in many ways including assisting victims of the massacre under SWAVISA, paying scholarships for students who were victimized by the system, food and transport for protestors, political schools and other activities that cannot be publicized.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to urge our leaders in the struggle to unite and create a fund for the struggle and this fund should be monitored by organizations like the Multi-Stakeholders Forum. There are many Swazis locally and abroad who are willing to fund the struggle, what we need is a fund that will account and make sure the money reaches the people\u201d, said the editor.<\/p>\n

Dlamini said he would start in the month of February to deduct the 10% of his salary for the struggle until June 2022 but would wait for the MSF to provide the account.<\/p>\n

He urged other Swazis to support the calls for democracy in many ways including financing it.<\/p>\n
