Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Nathie Dlamini,the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Business Eswatini has emphasized the importance of capacitating local businesspeople about the business opportunities that comes with the African Continental Free Trade Area(AfCTA).<\/b><\/p>\n

The Business Eswatini CEO said COMESA officials were in the country to train Swazis to fully understand the opportunities that come with the open market within the African continent.<\/p>\n

COMESA stands for the Common Market for Eastern and Southern African,it is an organization of twenty-one(21) African countries that promotes economic prosperity through regional integration.<\/p>\n

Member States under COMESA are guaranteed access to a market of 600million people but,the African Free Trade Area(AfCTA) will connect countries to a population of more than 1.4billion being 16.72% of the entire world population.<\/p>\n

Nathie Dlamini, the Business Eswatini CEO told this publication that the COMESA Business Council was in the country to train businesspeople on trade so that they can fully prepare themselves for the opportunities that comes with the African Continent Free Trade Area(ACfTA).<\/p>\n

\u201cYou will understand that preparedness plus opportunity is equal to success,are we prepared?.We need to understand what the opening of boarders in the African continent for free trade means,we are trying to equip the businesspeople to understand the market,\u201dsaid the Business Eswatini CEO.<\/p>\n
