The centres have been praised by com\u00admunity mem\u00adbers for being effi\u00adcient and con\u00adveni\u00adent because they provide almost all the ser\u00advices one would seek at the Min\u00adistry of Home Affairs.<\/p>\n

The one-stop shops provide all the ser\u00advices provided at Home Affairs offices.<\/p>\n

Dur\u00ading a visit to the Mhlam\u00adban\u00adyatsi con\u00adstitu\u00adency centre, the first res\u00adid\u00adent to be inter\u00adviewed said the ser\u00advice centre was one of the best ideas to come from the gov\u00adern\u00adment as they no longer needed to travel long dis\u00adtances to access such ser\u00advices.<\/p>\n

The resident further commended the good ser\u00advice they received from the officers who are sta\u00adtioned at the Mhlambanyatsi Service Centre. They men\u00adtioned that it was unlike the ser\u00advice they used to receive at the DC offices in Mbabane.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery\u00adone is so sweet here, we have received great ser\u00advice so far,\u201d said one Mandla Shembe.<\/p>\n

Other inter\u00adviewed residents said the one-stop ser\u00advice centres dispelled the stereotype that gov\u00adern\u00adment offices provided poor ser\u00advices.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe build\u00ading even before you get inside, you can tell a lot of money and effort went into ensur\u00ading that we get excel\u00adlent ser\u00advice,\u201d Bongiwe Thwala.<\/p>\n

Indeed a tour around the Mhlam\u00adban\u00adyatsi ser\u00advice Centre proved the sentiments of the res\u00adid\u00adents. Even though some services could not be provided at the time when this reporter paid the visit, the fully fur\u00adnished canter boas\u00adted new and work\u00ading equipment.<\/p>\n

This was the same scen\u00adario at the Lobamba Inkhundla, which was a hive of activ\u00adity on Fri\u00adday. The busiest office was the Mas\u00adter\u2019s Office, where the con\u00adstitu\u00adents men\u00adtioned that the ser\u00advice was effi\u00adcient and was not time con\u00adsum\u00ading at all.<\/p>\n

The centre\u2019s Secretary, Monica Tsabedze, who was found at the recep\u00adtion, wel\u00adcomed this pub\u00adlic\u00ada\u00adtion with the warmest ser\u00advice etiquette; this was even before being informed that the reporter had gone there for a story.<\/p>\n

Tsabedze said they too offered all ser\u00advices but the Immig\u00adra\u00adtion Depart\u00adment was cur\u00adrently inactive.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll our depart\u00adments work but the immigration is currently on hold because the equipment has not arrived yet,\u201d said Tsabedze.<\/p>\n
