One of the local athletes in Mlandvo Mdluli brought it to the fore that it would have been better if there were availability courts in areas like Sidwashini and Nkoyoyo. \u201cThere is a dire need for basketball courts in areas like Nkoyoyo and Sidwashini. This is due to the indisputable fact that it becomes huge a drawback to us who stay as far as Nkoyoyo, because we have to waste roughly E30 for transport to get to town and play our favourite sport,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

On top of that, Mdluli further added that there was only one court that did not require membership fee in the Mbabane. On another note, Richard Mhlanga, who is a sports enthusiast, also expressed his opinion regarding the absence of the courts in some areas. Mhlanga revealed that as basketball players they definitely needed more playing surfaces. \u201cWe do need more courts, more especially in places like Motshane and Nkoyoyo,\u201d said Mhlanga. Mhlanga shared that sports played an imperative role in keeping people safe and busy. \u201cWith regard to the issue of sports being very important to all people, there is a need for a sports recreation centre in the capital city,\u201d Mhlanga said.<\/p>\n
