Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The tree that was recently planted by Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Senator Themba Masuku at Silele Clinic has been destroyed by Hosea residents, they suspect rituals were performed during the planting to silence them from demanding democracy.<\/b><\/p>\n

A questionnaire was sent to the DPM, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

The tree that was planted during the recent \u201cPlant a Tree Campaign\u201d in the presence of Chief Mlotjwa Dlamini and other high profile government officials,was allegedly destroyed on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

It has been disclosed that when the residents destroyed the tree, they discovered that coins were allegedly buried inside the roots hence their suspicion.<\/p>\n

A video in possession shows the residents inspecting the tree after destroying it.<\/p>\n
