Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Finally, someone has attended to the faulty Mangwaneni Traffic lights.<\/b><\/p>\n

Yesterday, motorists woke up to a beautiful surprise as the traffic lights in Mangwaneni have been restored. After a couple of years of being nonfunctional, the traffic lights are now fully functional.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the breakfast show on EBIS 1, Constable Ntombenhle stated that the traffic lights have been fixed, hence motorists will no longer face difficulties in driving through the Mangwaneni traffic light.<\/p>\n

The police officer from the traffic department further cautioned motorists to be vigilant when driving down the hilarious Malagwane hill, which will help minimize accident risks.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Chief Roads Engineer under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport Vincent Dlamini thanked motorists for being patient during the period when the traffic lights were not functioning.<\/p>\n

Dlamini explained that the reason it took them longer to fix the faulty traffic lights was the fact that they had to import more advanced gadgets for the traffic lights. He said the advantage of the newly installed lights is that it will be difficult for criminals to steal its copper and switches.<\/p>\n

Dlamini added that it government is trying to reduce cases of copper theft, including traffic lights vandalism.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Chief Engineer thanked the company that installed the traffic lights, saying it managed to do the job in a short time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are happy as a ministry that the lights have been fixed and motorists will enjoy driving past Mangwaneni without any traffic challenges,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
