Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Good records are loading for Sihlangu and Green Mamba striker, Sabelo \u2018Sikhali\u2019 Ndzinisa.<\/b><\/p>\n

Ndzinisa is a former Mbabane Swallows and Mbabane Highlanders goal-poacher, who is currently a goal machine at Green Mamba. He finished with 11 goals and 11 assists on his debut but had scored 19 and 23 goals for Highlanders in his two seasons prior to moving to the Correctional Services outfit and MTN Premier League 2022\/23 champions. The player was further hailed as undeniably the best PLE player by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Green Mamba, Mandla Sibiya. In relation to the national team, there are high chances that \u2018Sikhali\u2019 breaks Swallows\u2019 attacking midfielder Felix Badenhorst\u2019s record of nine goals as the all-time top goal scorer in the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Cup tournament. Ironically, the former TS Galaxy player is not included in the national team, despite his scoring ability. Badenhorst was the MTN Premier League and COSAFA region top scorer with 20 goals last season.<\/p>\n

He is one goal better than \u2018Sikhali\u2019 and Zambia legend Peter Ndlovu, who had held the record for a while before the former AS Vita and TS Galaxy star equaled it and surpassed it a year later. \u2018Sikhali\u2019 is in the national team and stands the chance to go past Ndlovu and Badenhorst if he scores two or more goals. If he scores one, he will share the record with Badenhorst.<\/p>\n

On another note, COSAFA also released the list of Sihlangu\u2019s scorers in the tournament history with Badenhorst and Ndzinisa at the top of it. The list is included in this article as well. Efforts for a comment from \u2018Sikhali\u2019 and the squad\u2019s coach Dominic Kunene proved futile. The national team is currently in camp at the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Technical Centre in Lobamba, preparing for both the COSAFA Cup 2023 next month and the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 Qualifiers.<\/p>\n
