Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Eswatini Hockey Association (EHA) has revealed that they will be hosting a hockey festival in Mhlambanyatsi this weekend.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was revealed by EHA Secretary General (SG) Prosper Sithole, during the Eswatini Broadcasting Services (EBIS) sports show yesterday.<\/p>\n

EHA recently hosted the annual inter-school hockey festival at the same venue and the Secretary-General has mentioned that they were excited about the coming Saturday when they would be having games once again.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited about the event which we will be using to launch club hockey in Eswatini. We are going to have a mini grassroots clinic for little ones on Friday before the senior games. We are expecting electrifying competition as local teams battle it out on the smaller court,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Sithole who coaches Project Canaan Academy said there would be a club from Botswana to be part of the festival on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe participation of Basil Hockey Club from Botswana will bring male and female teams giving the event an extra edge as this presents stiffer competition for our teams. This should make for great entertainment for all sports lovers and anyone who would like to experience something new. I urge all emaSwati to come to the event,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The secretary-general went on to thank some of the sponsors for making the event possible. \u201cI would also like to mention Star Paint, Kitwe Hydraulics, Pick n Pay, Tibiyo Insurance and Umbuluzi Valley Sales,\u201d Sithole said.<\/p>\n
