Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Standard Bank Chief Executive (CE) Mvuselelo Fakudze has been appointed the new Chairperson of the Bankers Association of Eswatini.<\/b><\/p>\n

Fakudze was appointed during the secretariat of the Bankers Association of Eswatini\u2019s meeting held on Tuesday. He takes over from Mbali Sibanyoni, the Managing Director of the Swaziland Building Society (SBS) whose achievements with the bankers association speak for themselves. Business Eswatini (BE) management congratulated Fakudze on his appointment highlighting to have been informed by the secretariat of the bankers association about Fakudze\u2019s appointment.<\/p>\n

The management (BE) in a statement released yesterday, said Fakudze was a long-standing stalwart of BE and currently serves as the organisation\u2019s Finance Chairman. \u201cHis contribution to the chamber and federation is illustrious. Through his contribution and support, Business Eswatini has grown in leaps and bounds over the years,\u201d read the statement. BE said they, therefore, pause to thank him for his selfless service to BE, particularly in the area of formulating finance instruments for renewable energy, which has been his passion for many years.<\/p>\n

BE mentioned that they were enjoying robust discussions with stakeholders on renewable energy projects in large part because he (Fakudze) was vigorously driving this conversation. \u201cWe are, therefore, proud of our association with Standard Bank and Fakudze in particular. We have no doubt that he will bring the same winning spirit to the bankers association as he assumes his leadership role as chairman,\u201d said the BE management.<\/p>\n
