Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Staunch followers and fans of the award-winning gospel artist, Nothando Hlophe are in for a treat this coming month end.<\/b><\/p>\n

The talented gospel singer has revealed that she is all amped up for the MTN iPraise to be held on July 29, 2023, at Mavuso Trade Centre.<\/p>\n

Hlophe on various social media platforms urged people to get their tickets on time and look out for her performance at the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cGet your tickets ready because I will be putting on a beautiful performance for you guys. I cannot wait to worship and praise you,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

On another social media platform, she mentioned that she too was looking forward to a good show, courtesy of MTN Eswatini.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere will be so many talented acts to be sure to come and witness God\u2019s glory,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Nothando Hlophe is a female gospel artist from Manzini, her music career instantly changed the moment she was announced the winner of the Women in Praise talent search competition hosted by Umvini Events in conjunction with Spirit Music Group.<\/p>\n

In 2008, she joined the Gospel Challenge and out of 400 contestants, she made it to the seventh spot. That same year, she sang with Redeem Child, which was an opening act for Joyous Celebration. It was from there that doors started opening for her and she was a backing vocalist for Frans Dlamini, Banele Dlamini and God\u2019s Property.<\/p>\n

In 2015, she joined the Swazi Collaboration. When the opportunity to audition for the Women in Praise project rolled in, she took a leap of faith and quit her job where she had been working at Explicit Design as a PA. That same year, she was nominated three times in the National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA).<\/p>\n

She later joined other South African female artists in a concert headlined by Zaza Mokhethi for a live DVD recording of the project in Eswatini. The recording formed part of the \u2018Spirit of Praise Volume 6\u2019 live recording in 2016.<\/p>\n

Nothando Hlophe is one of the new-age gospel artists that Eswatini has ever seen. She has tapped into her rich voice and that has gained her an extensive following. The number of views that her music video \u2018Khulula Ugcobo\u2019 recorded on YouTube has been viewed are an indication that her music is going to a higher level. She collaborated with Woman In Praise and Zaza on the song.<\/p>\n
