Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Saxophonist Fakazi Samuel will be launching his first book on August 12 this year.<\/b><\/p>\n

The launch will be hosted together with a Gospel music ministry. Samuel is an award-winning saxophonist after his song titled \u2018Okuhle Nomusa\u2019 won Best Contemporary Song during the Eswatini Gospel Music Awards, which were held in Mavuso Exhibition and Trade Centre last December. Samuel will launch his new book at the Liberty Community Centre in August, titled \u2018What does it cost you? The musician recently shared a post on Facebook to tease his fans about the launch of the book.<\/p>\n

He mentioned that he was excited to share the great news with them. \u201cSo excited to share this long-awaited great news, saints! We will be launching my first book; you better come and hear more about it. Copies will be available at the venue as well for E70 per copy,\u201d read the Facebook post. The launch will be accompanied by an Induction to Gospel Music Ministry, a Gospel show which will be facilitated by speakers Fakazi Samuel, artist and project management Phindokuhle Sithole as well as Makabongwe Magongo.<\/p>\n

Success<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, for every artist out there who wants to make a great difference in the Gospel industry, come and hear us, share our success stories that might change the way you do things for the better! You\u2019re all invited, Bazalwane!\u201d added Samuel on the same Facebook post. When reached for comment on what inspired the book, he said it was part of a vision shown to him by God. \u201cIt\u2019s part of my vision, my God-given assignment. It\u2019s part of the things I have to do while I\u2019m still preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ,\u201d shared the artist.<\/p>\n

He was also asked how long it took him to produce a complete edition of the new book, and he shared that it took a couple of years. \u201cI was not in a rush to finish, so it took a couple of years because I kept pushing my focus onto the music and other activities of my vision. So, I would write a chapter and put a pause on the book until some of the urgently needed goals were achieved in the other activities. Plus, writing from inspiration sometimes needs no disturbance but solid focus, so I would wait until I had undisturbed focus to pray and receive from the Lord what I had to write or share about,\u201d the musician said. He further shared the motive behind the book, citing that is to preach the Gospel.<\/p>\n

Motive<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cWell, the ultimate motive is to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ at the same time enlightening and motivate God\u2019s people that doing God\u2019s will and achieving worthwhile things in this world will always come at a cost,\u201d Fakazi said. He recently performed in Botswana, where he shared the stage with Minister GUC from Nigeria as well as Gospel sensation Bucy Radebe, who is a well-known South African Gospel singer. He further shared the stage with decorated musicians such as Sbu Noah, Mpumi Mtsweni, Thinah Zungu, Canaan Nyathi, and Nothando Dlamini. He was also the judge at the recently held Mother of All Gospel Shows, which is the brainchild of award-winning Gospel musician Nduduzo Matse.<\/p>\n
