Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>His Majesty King Mswati III has dissolved the 11th Parliament of the Kingdom of Eswatini.<\/b><\/p>\n

His Majesty did this during Sibaya at Ludzidzini Royal Residence, earlier today throngs of emaSwati attended the Sibaya in which His Majesty also called for free and fair national elections devoid of threats and intimidation.<\/p>\n

His Majesty further commended the 11th Parliament for their dedication and for contributing to the country\u2019s recent economic growth and other positive developments happening in the country.<\/p>\n

His Majesty urged the Nation to vote wisely and elect people of noble character, including women and persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n

\u201cParliament did a good job as seen with the many positive developments happening in the country. I would like to commend Members of Parliament for sparing no effort in ensuring that we achieve these developments. I hope the coming Parliament will take a leaf from the outgoing Parliament and take the country to further greater heights,\u201d said His Majesty.<\/p>\n

The King further said he trusts that as people elect these men and women into Parliament; they will vote for people with a development and first-world mindset. The King hoped that they would also elect people of noble character and integrity, who will have the heart of the Nation and uphold our integrity as a Nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing will defeat a Nation that is united, has one voice, one heart and is single-minded. It is for that reason that none of us should spare the effort to ensure that we live in peace and harmony for future generations to come,\u201d said His Majesty.<\/p>\n

In addition, he said as everyone knows, that the country is recovering from the effects of COVID-19, which made dialoguing difficult, now that COVID-19 is no longer an issue, he hopes they can convene as a Nation as they have always been doing. After the national elections, there will be an opportunity to dialogue as a country.<\/p>\n

His Majesty has also commended the Nation for restoring peace and harmony.<\/p>\n
