Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>King Mswati spoke about \u201cKubhunga\u201d and other media houses interpreted that as a political dialogue.<\/b><\/p>\n

Perhaps, it is worth-mentioning that a political dialogue cannot be held without a legal framework with clear terms of reference.<\/p>\n

A dialogue must be guided by provision of what is known as the \u201cDialogue Act\u201d.<\/p>\n

In this regard, it is clear that Mswati was \u2018day-dreaming\u2019, if it\u2019s true that by \u201cKubhunga\u201d, he was referring to a political dialogue.<\/p>\n

The King must understand the seriousness of the political crisis in this country, that the unrest has been halted does not mean it won\u2019t erupt again.<\/p>\n

King Mswati and his cronies can sit-down and do \u201cKubhunga\u201d but,that should not be interpreted as a political dialogue.<\/p>\n

It is such tendencies of concluding that all emaSwati are \u2018fools\u2019 that resulted to others taking-up arms against this regime, the King thinks political activists can fight for all these years just for \u201cKubhunga\u201d during Sibaya.<\/p>\n

What is needed here is an all inclusive dialogue that will usher this country into a new democratic dispensation.<\/p>\n

The dialogue must be held in a neutral venue not Sibaya where King Mswati performs rituals.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, let me further mention that those who think \u201cKubhunga\u201d will solve the problems of this country are \u201cday-dreaming\u201d and this include King Mswati.<\/p>\n

\u201cKubhunga\u201d is normally done by men and women inside drinking spots, no sane Head of State can reduce a national dialogue into \u201cKubhunga\u201d.<\/p>\n

The dialogue must be presided over by a reputable Envoy, from international bodies like the Southern African Development Community(SADC), the United Nations(UN) or the African Union(AU).<\/p>\n
