The northern Hhohho outfit hit the one million mark six days after they lost the same number of votes after an audit instituted by the tournament’s Management Committee last week.<\/p>\n

The National First Division had accumulated 1 661 422 votes at the time of releasing the statistics yesterday. It should be noted that the team is short of another 400 000 votes to only reach the two million mark.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Manzini Wanderers have maintained the second spot with 897 183 votes while National First Division newcomers Lozitha Hotspurs were third with 797 735 votes.<\/p>\n

However, there was a twist on the charts as Mbabane Highlanders are now sitting at position five with 698 759 votes, which is position down compared to Monday’s figures. They have been overtaken by their capital city hoodoo side Mbabane Swallows, who now occupy the fourth position with a total of 726 735 votes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, 2022\/23 MTN Premier League runners-up Young Buffaloes are moving at a snail’s pace in as far as voting is concerned. They are sitting at a meagre 84 867 votes in position 14.<\/p>\n

Occupying the bottom position are the now relegated Tambankulu Callies, who have, unbelievably added exactly 100 votes, taking their tally to 187.<\/p>\n

A total of 7 110 626 votes have been accumulated so far in the ongoing voting exercise of the E2 million-sponsored knockout tournament, which is in its second stint this year.<\/p>\n

It was won by Nsingizini Hotspurs last yar, directed by the workaholic Derrick Shiba. The top two teams in the voting charts will book places in the finals of the competition set to be played in September.<\/p>\n

Positions three to six finishers will qualify for the play-offs.<\/p>\n
