Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Mayibongwe Masangane, the Secretary General of the Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union (SWADNU) has applauded nurses for forcing Government to rehabilitate the road leading to Good Shepherd Hospital.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the SWADNU Secretary General said the nurses actually sent a message to the authorities to rehabilitate the road.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne would like to convey our thanks to the nurses for advocating for the patients by filling those potholes, they sent a message to the authorities rehabilitate the road.We really appreciate those nurses and call for Government to do her job,\u201dhe said.<\/p>\n

The office of the government Spokesperson announced online that government was rehabilitating the Good Shepherd including the Mbandlane-Simunye road.On or around 14 January 2022, nurses at the Good Shepherd Hospital in Siteki abandoned their duties and fixed potholes on the road leading to the hospital after the death of patients along that road while trying to access medical care.<\/p>\n
