Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>THE 90s music was a hit at the first edition of the Farmers Market held at Mega Lounge on Saturday. From mafikizolo, Zola, Mandoza, to Bongo Maffin, old school music was the food of the day.<\/b><\/p>\n

The spinners of the day understood the assignment. The music rendered by the spinners matched perfectly with the theme of the day which was Vintage. From Karly B to Zulu D, they made sure that fun lovers were taken back to the 80s.<\/p>\n

They sang along to every song that was rendered by the spinners. Gates were opened at noon and most fun lovers flocked in at around 5pm. Some got the memo of the day and some came in casual look, most in simple t-shirt and jeans. Most of the fun lovers who got the memo of the theme looked stunning in their sophia town looks. Megasound spinners were head tuners with their outfits.<\/p>\n

It would have not been a party without a set of amapiano. The spinners turned the tables around 7pm and switched from the 80s music to the latest amapiano. Indoor Around 9pm, they party went to the indoor arena, where everyone danced the night away.<\/p>\n

That was when Mega Lounge Director Zulu D took over and dished nothing but glowing set. He knew what the fun lovers wanted on that particular time as amapiano was his food for the revellers. The highlight of the night was when DJ Ntombs’ family and friends ushered him to a new year (celebrating his birthday) as he was showered with champagne. His fans seized the opportunity and made sure he was wet with beverages all over his vintage outfit.<\/p>\n

He shared his birthday cake with most of the fun lovers at the hangout spot. The Bishops (DJ Yogu and Smish) made sure deep house lovers were not left out and they delivered a beautiful performance. They also made sure the 90s classic hits in deep house were beautifully rendered. They played hits from Black Coffee, Black Motion, Glen Lewis to Oscar Mbo’.<\/p>\n

House fanatics could not hold themselves, but simply gave nods to the house gods. Zulu D said in as much the turnout was not impressive, he loved the fact that people came and had fun at their favourite spot. He said in the second edition, they would go bigger and better.<\/p>\n

He thanked everyone who showed up and supported their business.<\/p>\n
