Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The newly appointed CONCO General Manager Muzi Mhlobo has promised to create new jobs in the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

He was speaking earlier today during a press briefing held in his honour. Mhlobo said he was humbled by the appointment and that he was following in great footsteps.<\/p>\n

The new GM expressed his excitement for his new role, stating that there were plans underway to bring members of the CONCO value chain to invest in the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a number of promising projects in the pipeline that seek to create jobs for Emaswati. When everything is finalised we are going to be able to announce it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In addition, he said his main good was to make a difference in the position he has been put in.<\/p>\n

Mahlobo was announced as the new CONCO General Manager by the Minister of commerce and trade Manqoba Khumalo.<\/p>\n

Khumalo said he was happy with the announcement as he did not know anyone fit for the position.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe trust him and we know he will hoist the country\u2019s flag high. He also takes from a great leader. We all wish him the best,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Coca-Cola Swaziland is a food manufacturing group and produces soft drink concentrate and supplies it to sixty bottling companies across 20 countries in Africa. It imports some of its raw materials like dairy products into the country and sources most sugar materials locally.<\/p>\n

Given Coca-Cola Swaziland (CONCO LTD)\u2019s extensive reach in the region, reliable and safe transport is an important part of the company\u2019s business activities.<\/p>\n

CONCO relies on road transport for its business but Swaziland, the location of its plant, does not have professional trucking companies that meet the company\u2019s standards.<\/p>\n

CONCO faces difficulties contracting transport service providers that give quality and reliable service in addition to having insurance on the goods that are being transported.<\/p>\n
