Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Minister of Commerce , Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo has revealed the categories for the 2023 Eswatini Quality Awards.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Minister today announced that businesses and organisations can now apply for the awards, which are meant to promote business excellence in businesses and organisations across all sectors in the country.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the announcement at the Ministry, Minister Khumalo said that the Ministry is hosting the awards as part of its mandate to support businesses in the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Trade is responsible for providing an enabling environment and support for the development and growth of business and industry for the attainment of economic development,\u201d said Khumalo.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are six categories that do not compete with each other,\u201d announced the Minister.<\/p>\n

He went on to list the categories as follows:<\/p>\n

1. Eswatini Company\/Organisation of the Year,<\/p>\n

2. Eswatini Product of the Year,<\/p>\n

3. Eswatini Service of the Year,<\/p>\n

4. Eswatini Exporter of the Year,<\/p>\n

5. Eswatini Quality Individual of the Year,<\/p>\n

6. Eswatini Conformity Assessment Body of the Year.<\/p>\n

\u201cOut of these six Categories, category one to four are further divided into categories that target large enterprises and MSME\u2019s,\u201d added Minister Khumalo.<\/p>\n

The applications for the Eswatini Quality Awards can be found on www.gov.sz or www.swasa.co.sz, and registration is open until September 30.<\/p>\n
