Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Since Tuesday (8 August 2023), World Vision Eswatini\u2019s Halting Project has been making a significant impact on the lives of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in Eswatini by conducting an Economic Strengthening Mentorship Training program.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Economic Strengthening Mentorship Training program is designed to equip adolescents and young women with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to become successful entrepreneurs. During the training sessions, participants received invaluable knowledge from other esteemed speakers from Eswatini Bank and the Youth Enterprise Revolving Fund. These experts provided young women and girls with essential insights into financial literacy and the establishment of small and medium-sized business enterprises.<\/p>\n

World Vision recognizes that economic empowerment can be a crucial step towards self-sufficiency and a means to escape the cycle of poverty for AGYW. By providing them with practical guidance, the organization aims to foster economic independence and improve their overall well-being.<\/p>\n

A post on World Vision\u2019s official page on Facebook shows that the beneficiaries from Ndzingeni, Mayiwane, and Mhlume constituencies have shown great enthusiasm and dedication to their business ideas. From innovative start-ups to traditional livelihoods, adolescents and young women are eager to turn their aspirations into successful ventures. With the support of World Vision\u2019s mentors and trainers, they are gaining the confidence and knowledge needed to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n
